Lindsay Ayers is Policy Counsel at DC Justice Lab. Prior to DC Justice Lab, she served as Director of Legal Services at Christian Legal Aid of DC (CLADC), where she was responsible for providing legal services to low-income clients on matters of criminal record sealing, social security disability, eviction defense, housing conditions, and estate planning. In her role, she recruited and managed 160 pro bono volunteer attorneys and led trainings on legal advocacy and client relationship skills.
She previously served as an Administrative Attorney at NSN Employer Services, where she prepared and submitted evidence for unemployment hearings and represented clients at administrative law hearings. She also served as a Board Member at Traffick Free, an anti-sex trafficking nonprofit.
In her free time, Lindsay enjoys reading, blogging, cooking,and working out.
Lindsay earned her BS from Georgia College and State University and JD from Chicago-Kent College of Law. She is admitted to the Illinois State Bar and the District of Columbia Bar.
